Facade decoration with steel cables

iCentrum

iCentrum is Birmingham's new business incubator. Fitting to its character as an innovation lab, the building’s facade is innovatively designed featuring shadow panels suspended by Jakob Rope System steel cables.

The panels create an iridescent change of light and shadow that changes over the course of the day. More than 3.5 kilometres of ropes run around the facade.
