Jakob Rope Systems has been producing wire rope nets in Vietnam since 2003. The first factory followed in 2007, but it soon became too small. With the construction of a second factory in 2019, we are focusing on sustainable industrial architecture.

Architecture
Our comprehensive range of wire ropes and end fittings opens up creative applications for architecture. Whether it’s bracing, tensioned cable structures, façade greening or works of art – we find the right solution for every construction project.
Webnet
The versatile stainless steel mesh with exceptional durability and flexibility. Mounted on railings and in staircases, Webnet provides support and safety. On façades, it serves as a climbing aid for plants. In large rooms, Webnet creates delicate accents as a dividing element. As a building element for zoo enclosures or as a protective structure, it impresses with its transparency over large areas.
Frames
Our stainless steel frames with integrated Webnet. Individual frame profiles and a wide range of fixing and colour options mean there are virtually no limits to the scope for design.

GreenSolutions
We use ropes and stainless steel mesh to develop structural solutions for vertical and horizontal greening in urban spaces.
Our climbing structures in any dimensions are an important step towards creating more greenery on walls, façades and public spaces.
Sport and play
Architects and planners value our Webnet for sports and leisure buildings.
As a ball stop fence, Webnet is characterised by its almost transparent structure over large areas. It absorbs ball bounces silently and thus offers an ideal solution for sports and leisure areas.
Our wide range of nets are used in playgrounds, including fibre nets for climbing and stainless steel nets that provide additional safety.
Animal enclosure
Zoo designers use our ropes and stainless steel nets to realise enclosures and aviaries in all imaginable shapes and dimensions. The result is natural and species-appropriate zoo enclosures that do not give the impression of a cage, but instead fascinate with their transparency and creative shapes.
Bridge construction
For the construction of pedestrian and cycle bridges, we develop lightweight structures made of steel ropes and Webnet that cover both large and small spans.
Our projects combine engineering, rope technology, stainless steel design and the highest safety standards.
Bridge safety
We realise protection systems for various bridge constructions, spans and widths, including historic bridge structures.
We use pliable and transparent mesh structures with a wide range of rope diameters and mesh widths.
Hoisting and lifting technology
Jakob Rope Systems offers a full range of products for hoisting and lifting technology. It also offers a comprehensive range of services, including maintenance and splicing work as well as periodic inspections of ropes and slings.
Our Trubschachen site also includes a mechanical production facility with CNC machines and a metalworking shop.
Habegger rope hoists
Habegger rope hoists are used when heavy loads need to be moved safely and efficiently. Manufactured in Switzerland and used successfully worldwide.
Our range includes manual rope hoists, motorised rope hoists, accessories and services.
Fibre rope production
In our fibre rope department, we manufacture ropes from natural and synthetic fibres in a wide variety of constructions.
Our products are used in a wide range of areas – from shipping and playgrounds to industry and as inserts for wire ropes. We are proficient in a wide range of splicing techniques and offer customised solutions for rope applications.
WalkNet
With mesh structures made of reinforced fibre ropes, we develop unique possibilities for the design of rooms in outdoor and indoor areas. We plan, manufacture and install WalkNet in individual shapes and colours.
Our production enables the selection of many details: rope diameter, net knots, mesh sizes, net connections and free form finding.
Wire rope production
We produce various types of rope up to a thickness of 28 millimetres on our rope machines.
We carry out trials and load tests on our ropes and components on two towing machines (2 tonnes and 75 tonnes tractive force).
Assembly hoisting and lifting technology
We assemble ropes and chains into slings according to customer requirements. An extensive range of textile lifting equipment and accessories rounds off our product range. We also take care of the professional inspection and repair of lifting gear for our customers.
RopeLab
RopeLab is the innovation laboratory of Jakob Rope Systems. This is where new ideas are created to improve existing products with our customers and develop innovations in the areas of rope technology, architecture and hoisting and lifting technology.
We are constantly searching for new ways to optimise the aesthetics, safety and costeffectiveness of our products. Our customers, partners and our expertise in unusual projects and applications provide inspiration for product ideas and prototypes.
