Bern KMU Award 2021: We say thank you
Jakob Rope System is honored for its successful balancing between 120 years of tradition in the Emmental and innovative products that go from Trubschachen to the whole world. Ropes and stainless steel nets from Jakob are in demand internationally.
Already the nomination for the 4th Bern KMU Award was an honor for us. Among the total of four nominees, we were allowed to participate as a company in the public online voting. We are all the more pleased to be able to accept this special award for us.
The Bern KMU trade association is the umbrella organization for small and medium-sized enterprises in the Canton of Berne. Since 2017, the association has been awarding prizes to members and individuals from the affiliated trade associations and professional associations who, as "true tradespeople", have put their heart and soul into promoting the economy in the Canton of Berne and the association of Bern KMU.
The award ceremony for the 4th Bern KMU Award took place on 20 October 2021 at the delegates' meeting in Interlaken. We are delighted to be honored as a third-generation Emmental family business that can look back on a long tradition. Today, our products from the Emmental are internationally appreciated for their quality, aesthetics and the variety of their applications. Our location in Trubschachen plays an important role in the success and further development of Jakob. This is where we employ around 110 people, where we train young professionals, where we invest and from here we are committed to the region, the people and other companies in our local area.
We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the other three nominees for the Bern KMU Award 2021: Franziska Landolf (Muri-Gümligen trade association), Corinne Loosli (Albiro AG, Emmental regional association) and Alexander Leu (Leu Haustech AG, suissetect Canton Bern). Four companies are nominated for the Bern KMU Award 2021. We are very pleased that Peter Jakob is amongst these with Jakob Rope Systems.
